In the Silence

My Mother said to me one day "where you running to" I was always going somewhere, my mind was busy thinking about what I needed to do and  how fast could I get one more thing done. What I did not finish and oh I will do it tomorrow. Lots of things go on inside my head, thing that has happened to me that I am not proud of how I have lost my way sometimes on automatic pilot, the chatter that repeat itself over and over again, you know the quiet chatter, that get louder and louder sometimes. Well today I give myself a break and my body by allowing it to rest and to rest my mind, by sitting in the Silence, allowing myself to rest and concentrate on the breath of life, and be present with it, so for the rest of the week, allow yourself to sit in the Silence and be present with your breath and tell the chatter, not now!
Allow that still small voice to speak to you from inside.
So, come and sit in the Silence, for the rest of the week  and listen you you breath, try is for 10 minutes.

Live your life with Joy

I live my life in Joy.  I live my life from a place of knowing that all is well. As I know this for myself, I know this for everyone reading this affirmation.

Love

Love is the way I live. Love guides my life. I am the love of the most high God. I am love, loving its life as me!
                                                                     And it is!

Delight

I am the delight of God, I take Joy and Happiness everywhere I go, because the Infinite Presence that resides within surrounds, supports, and uplifts me. Today, I delightfully shine my light.

Get up and move

You need not compare yourself with another. Trust yourself. Believe in your direct relationship with God and you will not be disappointed. Do not wait. Today is the time to start. Right where you are is the place to start.
Electricity exists everywhere but its energy must be directed. So it is with this Power. If you wish Spirit to pour out through your thought in any direction you wish, you must use it consciously. You do not pray this Power into existence. Your use of it is not a prayer to the Power but a recognition of It. To realize that God is ever-present, ever-available, is to know that all the wisdom, intelligence and power of God is right where you are, Your word is power when you know this and speak it. Speak forth things like an affirmative prayer.

The Law of Good is continuously operating in my life.

I am always equal to my task set before me.

I am confident of my ability to meet every situation.

I can solve every problem, overcome every difficulty.

Realizing that Spirit knows no obstruction, 

I have implicit confidence in Spirit ability to operate

through me always, and in every situation!

Play it Forward

I first would like to say, when we help someone, we help ourselves, we release ourselves to move on with our lives, no matter how or what we are experiencing at that moment. We all want to be loved. And yes we make up our own story, and we can come up with some good ones, so this is my story;
I was about to turn 50 and not feeling it, in fact in my mind I was not a PYT (Pretty young thang) anymore. I had convinced myself that I was now old and crunchy,( I call this Race Consciousness ) people would see me as a old women now. I was sinking fast down the rabbit hole and it was getting darker by the hour and now the tears were streaming  down my face, I was my worst enemy now,I was feeling sorry for myself, my energy was low,( yes everyone I do have my moments to:) We are one!
So I decided to go the get a manicure and a pedicure, that would make me feel better, as I was sitting in the chair getting a pedicure and beautiful lady walked in, very well posed lady and I began to admire her as I watched how beautiful and well spoken she was. She sat next to me and noticed the tears slowly stream down my face, as I was acting like it was allergies that was causing me to tear up, but this lady was wise in spirit and chose not to believe what I was making others to believe, so I thought. She pause for a few minutes before saying to me "Baby what is the matter?" I replied I am not going to be a P Y T anymore, I will be 50 tomorrow and she smiled and began to tell me her story, by saying it gets better, now you know what you like, and what you do not like, what you will take, and what you will not take, and you can say NO!
Kids are grown, you can travel, you can do what you like. She shared with me her experiences at 50, 60, and 70, Wow was she beautiful and at peace with herself, and said now you can do this,Live and enjoy yourself. I realized how blessed I am and happy to be here doing what I do, to inspire other women as Powerful women have inspire me. It may have been small ,for some of you women out there, but I know I am not alone, we are one!
I thanked her for her Love and inspiration, and now I am here writing about her and  asking all of you to Play it forward and help someone else out when you see or moved by compassion to help someone out, speak forth words of encouragement or give a hug or a simple touch will do sometimes. Today I am here and I stand because of many Power women that have touch my life soo deeply, Thank you MAMA, my God Mother, My Daughter, My Friends, My Students and yes the lady at the salon to help me to Stand in my Greatness and live the life of my dreams with Love, Peace and Joy!


P.S. How many hugs can you give today? look to see who you can inspire.

Tell a new Story

So how many times are we going to tell the same story, over and over and over again? One year, Two year, Ten years or until you are old and gray, never living the life you dream about or see on TV, on the travel Channel. You have told the story to many times you start to make up stuff and cannot really remember what is true and what is false, but just the same you feel terrible when you tell the story, so you depart from that person  feeling bad about yourself and defeated. Now I ask the question again, "How long are you going to tell the same story?" O k enough is enough, I want to change how I think about myself, and tell a new story.
We have to learn how to create a new story about ourselves, so you take Swim lessons,Hiking,go to Museums, Art  Galleries, Go talk to a life Coach , make new friends, maybe let some people go in our life that does not support you.
Now you are doing it! and oh even take up some Dancing, and you notice your conversation change, you began to speak about just how wonderful life, really is . Come on out and Stand in your Greatness and live the life you dream with love, Peace and Joy!
I would like to challenge everyone for the next week to change how you speak about yourself, by saying something positive and watch how you feel when you say it,do not try, lets do it!

Love myself first

Growing up I always heard my mother say she "I put my kids first", I later learn I did the same thing, I put my Daughter and my husband before I considered myself. And I remembered loosing my way of what I wanted for myself, asking myself, what did I want to do? What did I like? Where did I want to go? In short who was I? I had lost my focus, I had given away my power , passion and  purpose. I was not myself, I was empty and even through I had lots of friends and family I felt alone. I needed to get my Power, Passion and Purpose back so I did. Do anyone know what I am talking about?
